Anti-lock rear brake

If the front tire looses traction it will slip out from under you, and you will fall.

In slick conditions use the rear brake first.

Keep pedaling as you apply the rear brake and you can feel if the tire slips.

With consistency and practice you will have an anti-lock rear brake without thought or effort.
